Bunny Hutch At Oakland House

1980 easter

Two-year-old Haydon Viau enjoys a visit with the Easter Bunny at the historic Oakland House in Affton on Tuesday. In addition to time spent with the friendly, furry bunny, children made an Easter bag, received a treat, petted live rabbits and took in a puppet show. The Oakland House, 7801 Genesta, was built in the 1850s by Louis A. Benoist, a pioneer banker. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Oakland House is owned, operated and maintained by The Affton Historical Society.
