Welcome to the finals of the National Science Project Hat Design competition, here at the Tropicana Club. You young ladies should be very proud!
Third place, on the left, goes to Jill’s intricate double helix DNA model! Second place, in the middle, is Kate’s model of our entire solar system, including that little thingy that isn’t even a planet anymore. Congratulations!
And FIRST PLACE, over on the right, goes to… LUCY! Is that you? Wearing the chandelier from the lobby? You can’t be in the show! Lucy, you got some ’splainin’ to do! Ai yai yai yai yai!

What is the recession throwing? And if this is the last of its throws, does that mean it’s the other team’s turn to come on the field?Sorry, I know you meant “throes”, but I couldn’t resist.

I’m not either. It’s perfectly understandable to make a video that freezes before you say anything of importance. I mean we can’t expect those sand niggers to know how to use a video camera or actually watch the tape before they send it. We’re lucky it’s not old Bugs Bunny reruns on it.

Fascinating point. I work in a marketing company as a web designer, and I have no control over the content I produce. I just wrap it in <div> tags.I shouldn’t be surprised that the news media industry is the same. The editors cut the stuff without asking questions, and the producers make sure they’re distributing the type of stuff that’s going to sell commercials so their bosses are happy. Not so different than the “spiral of silence” in Hitler’s Germany.Nice observations… and scary.

  4. Toby says on :

A lot of the stuff that I’ve seen on prisonplanet (not that I’m a frequent reader of it by any means) is sourced to infowars, which is another Alex Jones site. Citing yourself as your source doesn’t help your credibility much.

  5. Zoe says on :

I sit with editors who cut this stuff. It appears they don’t really notice (or they’re afraid- or just don’t care or know enough to say anything to anyone above them). For the most part, the editors at news stations just do their jobs (they are paid very well) and keep their mouths shut. And producers today have all become what you call “sheeple”. That’s why these tapes are just matter-of-factly reported as legit. There’s no journalism going on in TV news. It’s just processing and condensing the official story (always from AP) down to 15 or 20 seconds. It’s like working on a factory line. Only your “reporting news” instead of making toasters. Yes, working in TV news has become a “mindless job”.On 9-11 I sat with editors in Secaucus NJ, cutting the video of the towers collapsing and everyone saw how those buildings fell. No one was going to run to the news director and say “Hey look at these charges popping off below the collapse line — it’s controlled demolition”. Nobody dared say that. Everyone just assumed it was an outside terrorist attack and we all remained in that haze of disbelief of what had just happened. For the next three days it was a blur. And by that time the “official story” of 9-11 had been ingrained in everyone’s heads.

  6. Kiaran says on :

Oh! Well, so much for that theory…

  7. Herbert says on :

Redditeers don’t help their credibility by selectively quoting the very same people they rail against in other posts.

  8. Laryn says on :

unless it’s broken by going too fast then it’s a variable amount of time it will be right….

  9. Michayla says on :

    Another excellent post.

  10. Jarvis says on :

Now he’s not even that friendly.

  11. Gervase says on :

That’s because someone nailed his foot to the ground.

  12. Winslow says on :

Prisonplanet is like a creationist site. It’s readership is based on faith, and sometimes they get something right, but most of the time they just randomly call things fake and think up profound, “secret” meanings to ordinary things.

  13. Nicholas says on :

well, even if Fred is dumb, it would be hard to get a bigger dumb ass than the current occupant of the white house. But I hope Fred doesn’t win.
