YOUR CHANCE TO SCOOP UP FREE ICE CREAM
Free ice cream will be on offer as a charity event is held at Binks Restaurant Scoopshop in Abbey Court Yard.
Ice cream maker Ben and Jerry’s is celebrating its 30th birthday on Tuesday by holding a Free Cone Day. In return for their free scoop, customers will be invited to make a donation to charity.
The day could end up tasting extra sweet for one person who is also celebrating their 30th birthday this year.
The winner of a competition run by Ben and Jerry’s will win a birthday party delivered to their office, including ice cream, party treats and goodies for up to 100 people.
A spokeswoman for Ben and Jerry’s said: “If it’s your big birthday this year then you could get in on the act by winning your own birthday ice cream party for you and your office. We?ve scoops and scoops of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream to give away to one lucky birthday boy or girl and their colleagues.”
To be in with a chance of winning, answer the following question: How old will Ben and Jerry’s be this year? 10, 20 or 30?

Credit card companies do care who you are, because they need to know your credit history. Obviously if I signed up for a credit card under a false name and then ignored the bill, that would be stealing. But, in an imaginary scenario where the credit card company could still get my real credit rating, could still reliably send me a bill and contact me if it wasn’t paid, yet merely thought my name was something other than it this, then no, I’d have no problem with that.

It is not possible for children to commit fraud. That is, they are children, minors. They are assumed to be less able to understand the requirements. Yes, the kids did something wrong, a rather minor thing of trying to get ice cream. The wrong that the government is committed is irrelevant to that.
