gi joe movie

We are just days away from the first official look at Ray Park as Snake Eyes in Stephen Sommers’ G.I. Joe!
Snake Eyes, who is easily the coolest character from the G.I. Joe Universe, will have his online debut this week in USA Today, however, we have just been informed that Paramount’s Amy Powell will “leak” the image to her favorite site on the web, AICN on Thursday for an early sneak peek.
So make sure to check back here or AICN on Thursday to get your first look at your favorite Ninja, Snake Eyes!
In other Joe news, one of the biggest scenes in the movie is shooting this week, the final duel between Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow that will be taking place at the end of the third act.
Also, LatinoReview has reposted their script review and they have also added more details to their original report.
UPDATE: Scratch that, Latino Review folded under studio pressure, the new story details are gone.

So does Cobra win in this one?I recommend people bet on Cobra commander and Serpentor; also, invest your money in Bear Stearns just like Jim Cramer told you too a few days ago.

  2. Adelaide says on :

Well this guy looks cool, I was always rather disturbed by the “awesome” tag associated with Ninjas. I mean, Ninjas are supposed to be honorless, brutal fighters. They are supposed to be excellently trained, but utterly despised. The idea of a “good ninja” is about as likely as a “good pirate” or a harmless nuke or a complex Britney Spears song. They aren’t fair fighters and they aren’t supposed to be something looked favourably upon. As I recall, this is why they wear masks. Their actions have no honor, so not even they want to be associated with them. Now if one wanted fighters of equal or better calibre, one should look to Samurai. Their actions were supposed to be honorable and their skill was supposed to be superb. And yet, other than Samurai Pizza Cats, I’ve seen very little about them in the Entertainment world.</nitpick>

A white person pointed out that you were marginalizing an entire highly diverse section of the world with separate and rich culture as “Asians”, when most Asians have nothing to do with Ninja legends. You know, for the record.

  10. Genie says on :

HELL YES. That looks very close to the Mark2 Snake-Eyes toy, my first GI Joe ever. :DRay Park also has the athleticism, martial arts skills, and swordsmanship to pull this off.

  11. Merv says on :

That’s not the GI Joe that I had when I was a kid. Maybe they should call him Glam Ninja Justin.

  12. Brion says on :

x2 if you use a samurai sword and an Uzi.
