Investigators search for debris following fighter jet crash
PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) Investigators are trolling through the Gulf of Mexico in search of debris from two Air Force fighter jets that crashed during a training exercise yesterday.
Both pilots managed to eject from the planes, but one later died. The other was found by a Coast Guard jet and pulled from the Gulf by a commercial fishing boat. The boat’s captain says he found the pilot in the middle of an oil slick. He says he was weak, but able to talk and very worried about the other pilot.
He has been released from the hospital in good condition.
Training flights from Florida’s Eglin Air Force Base have been temporarily halted as the base mourns.
Officials aren’t sure what caused of the crash and will use any found wreckage to aid in the investigation.

..and their new pavillions don’t have drivers for XP or linux either. No thanks… shop where you can get money back seriously!! Hint, Dell, Acer, Asus laptops work with XP, linux and not just Vista.
And if you chose the right model Canon Ink is cheaper.
Use Twain-Sane (http://www.ellert.se/twain-sane/). I used it for my brother’s mac and it works like a charm!
It’s a four year old printer. I doubt its even made anymore. Of course they won’t support an outdated driver that will need to be recoded to work with Leopard. I’m not saying they’re right, but don’t be so quick to judge. And by the way, my mac runs everything I’ve ever installed. Your loss.

I like this quote: The latest HP driver software for this printer is included as part of the Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard) default install; there is no need to download or reinstall any HP software.permalinkparent7oby (0 children) [+]7oby 2 points 4 hours ago [-]yeah, but the scanner stuff is weirdfortunately most of the printers that have network connections (especially officejets) have a web interface to administrate the printer… and, awesomely, to scan in browser.
I kind of came to the conclusion that it was meant as a warning to me for setting out traps. I thought it was probable that mere mice would chew through the cable. When I realized they had deliberately chewed off the last 3 digits of the s/n, I started watching my back.
HP used to be the absolute model of a company. They have indeed lost their way.
